From 1 July 2009, the Department for Planning and Infrastructure became the Department of Planning and the Department of Transport. State Land Services and Pastoral Leases became part of the Department of Regional Development and Lands.

According to the Premiers Physical Activity Taskforce, approximately 40% of adult Western Australians are not active enough for good health.  Walking is an easy, low cost method of increasing your health and physical activity levels, and it also provides a huge range of benefits for your community, the environment, and the transport system.
