Taxi driver code of conduct

The WA Taxi Driver Competency Standards were introduced on 1 July 2000 and form the basis of the training program for new taxi drivers.

The competency standards aim to better equip taxi drivers with the required knowledge and skills to deliver a higher level of service to taxi customers.

The standards are made up of units from the National Transport and Distribution Training Package and customised to ensure that they are relevant to the Perth taxi industry.
