Boating Communities is WA's leading marine safety publication specifically produced to inform and update boat owners. It contains important safety and marine related information and highlights any changes to regulations and the things people need to know when boating. The Boating Communities is published bi-annually and it is distributed to all recreational and commercial boat owners/operators and Recreational Skipper's Ticket holders throughout the State.
How to get the Boating Communities

The Department will automatically post you the latest copy of the Boating Communities if you:
- hold a Recreational Skipper's Ticket;
- are the registered owner of a commercial or recreational vessel.

If you would prefer to receive your copy of the Boating Communities electronically, you can download it from the publications section of our website.
To have us notify you when the latest edition of the Boating Communities is published and available for download just complete the request form and we will remove you from our mailing list.
The advantage of receiving the newsletter electronically is that it would reduce the printing and postage costs and allow the funds to be redirected to other marine safety education and promotional activities.
