Plate availability Do you want to know if a particular plate has been taken? If so, download the list of plates already taken (pdf 39kb) from our webpage.
Ordering your plate To order your plates, simply fill out the application form electronically, sign, print and post it, along with a cheque, to:

Making your plate Custom plate production takes about 4 to 5 weeks. We'll contact you by mail as soon as your plates are ready to collect.
Collecting your plate Your plate will be sent to the licensing centre nominated on your application form. When you attend your nominated centre to collect your plates, please ensure you take your current vehicle registration papers and existing plates along with you.
There is no extra charge for exchanging your old plates for your new Special Series plates.
