Details and status of principal shared path projects:
Perth to Fremantle PSP- Shenton Road Subway to Claremont Station
Project:
Complete a vital missing link between the Shenton Road subway and Claremont Station. The 500m section of Principal Shared Path will run between the railway line and the informal car parking bays.
The path design has taken into consideration the planning elements of the Town of Claremont's North East Precinct proposal. Key stakeholders include Bikewest, Main Roads WA, the Public Transport Authority and the Town of Claremont.
Project status:
The design phase is nearing completion.
Completion date:
Construction is anticipated to commence mid-2009 and take approximately three months.
